How it works

Record
Add your accounts, documents, contacts, wishes. Each entry is encrypted in your browser before it leaves the page.
Nominate
Add trusted contacts — your spouse, family, lawyer, executor — each with the right tier of access. Print and seal their Legacy Access Code.
Release on your terms
A wellness check timer + manual concern-raise option means the right people can act when needed, with a 7-day grace period for you to cancel if alive.
What we commit to
Three security commitments.
Zero-knowledge encryption
Your master password and vault key never leave your browser. We see ciphertext only — even if our servers are compromised, your contents stay sealed.
Operator can't release on demand
Your trusted contacts unlock the vault using a printed 24-word Legacy Access Code, paired with the wellness-check or concern flow. We have no override.
Continuity plan
Daily snapshots, encrypted vault export anytime, dual-sealed printed envelopes for long-horizon capsules, and a public continuity statement.

Patrimo is invite-only. We currently host fewer than 50 family-and-friends users while we get the operational continuity right. If you know the operator, ask them for an invite.
